He’s an expert machinist with a specialty in 5-axis technology. As an experienced CAD designer, Cole can convert your idea into an actual part! In 2012, Cole and his family decided to launch USARM as a better avenue to deliver quality solutions to customers in new and innovative ways.

USARM Core Principles

These principles define our culture at USARM:

1. Self-improvement is a lifestyle.
Nobody improves on accident. Instead of leaving self-improvement up to “chance,” take responsibility for improving yourself in every area of life. Always ask the question, “how can I improve in this area?” Do it daily. Make self-improvement a lifestyle.

2. Better than the competition in every way.
In order to be successful, we must be better than our competition in every area of business. This means we must be fully committed to improving in everything we do.

3. Strive for perfection.
Goodness prevents greatness when those who are good become satisfied with just being “good enough.” Strive to be the best at everything you do. Passionately search for a better way to do things.

4. Do the impossible.
Do what others think to be impossible. Work hard, be creative, try again. Don’t stop until the “impossible” is accomplished.

5. Always do what is right.
Honesty and integrity are always necessary. Do what is right no matter how hard it is, even if nobody else is watching.

6. Never fear failure.
Don’t be afraid to fail. Fearing failure stops you from trying things. Everybody fails. The thing that brings success is learning from failure and using our failures as steps that lead to success.  When you fail at something, simply think of it as an opportunity to start over again with more knowledge on the subject than you previously had.

7. Fail intelligently and fail fast.
The faster we fail and learn from our mistakes the faster we are on the correct path. Analyze risk, don’t keep repeating the same mistake, but don’t let fear of failure paralyze you.

8. Our work is urgent.
To be the best in the business we must all have a great sense of urgency in our work. Not so fast that we reduce quality, but fast enough to beat the competition.

9. Good quality or nothing at all.
To be the best we must make the best parts. This means never sending customers defective parts.

10. On time every time.
As a company built on honesty and integrity, we keep our word. This means that when we agree on a due date, we deliver on that date.

11. Problems are simply opportunities to succeed.
Success does not come by avoiding problems; it comes by overcoming problems. To be the best in the business we must be the best at solving problems.

12. Positive attitude, positive results.
If you think you can’t do something your attitude can prevent you from trying hard, and when things get tough, it makes it easier to quit. If you think you can do it, you push through those difficulties knowing that success is on the other side.

13. Take the initiative.
Don’t wait for “someone else” to do it. If it needs to be done and you can do it, take ownership of it.
